Out of Zion, "the perfection of beauty!"

And the glory will come from the God of Israel!
Shalom Friends! Part of my mission in life is to create beauty and share it with you. Welcome to the "World of Efrocine", the World of Rejoicing (Gr.). Put on (to heto'ana tis Efrocini'es), (Gr.) the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness… (Isaiah 61:3)

Mishcan Tabernacle Studios is an affiliate of Tabernacle of Zion Inc., a cultural and educational non-profit organization. Its community service is effected via another affiliate, World Disaster Relief. The objective is to bring relief to disaster victims, widows, orphans and under-privileged people in 3rd world countries in the Middle Eastern and elsewhere. Principally aid is given on a person-to-person level to be able to encourage victims and help them emotionally apart from the distribution of food, medical supplies, clothing, finding employment, etc.

Efrocine, Artistic Director of Mishcan Tabernacle Studios, is a Greek-Jewish artist-designer and educator. Her sculptural silk paintings of "Living Art" have brought her international recognition during the past 30 years. Winners of many competitions, the "Living Art" collections of silk icon images have appeared on numerous TV programs, theater presentations, concerts with dance performances and national galleries - F.I.T. in New York, the Textile Museum, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, to name a few. Efrocine used to be a judge at the Corcoren School of Art with Andy Warhal and other art schools and many art competitions.
The "Living Art" Mishcan Silk Collection has been on tour in the USA, Europe, Asia, Fiji Islands, Australia, the Crysanthemum Festival, Kaifung, China, Athens, Greece and the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, Israel. These paintings reflect a rare experience of spiritual ambience in concerts, dance theater and celebration festivals. Just as a butterfly jubilantly spreads its wings as it emerges from its cocoon, the silk paintings of "Living Art" burst forth into exquisite eloquence of silent music. The Heavens declare the glory of God! (Psalm 19).
